Delete him from facebook?

I was seeing a guy for a few months, it was kind of casual but we talked most days, had a great time together and I began to really like him.

I really feel like he led me on and just used and now that its over and I'm just a bit down over the whole thing, primarily for wasting energy on him, being nice to him, and for not taking things more serious with another guy that I was seeing when we started seeing each other.

He keeps popping up on Facebook newsfeed and its just hard to look at. I know he's online dating as a friend of mine saw his profile and these girls keep popping up as new friends. Its just quite difficult to see. I'm not saying I've been an angel in the nights out I've had, but its just right in my face.

I don't know if I should delete him or not. My friend has suggested that I don't want it to look like that I care by doing this and there is photos of me going up etc.

    What do you think?

I doubt he'll notice if you care. Meanwhile you're noticing him. Just delete him and move on

On a technical point, you could just stop his posts appearing on your newsfeed. Just click on the options button on one of his posts and you'll get a hide option.

I did this a while ago when seeing an ex's posts was getting me down.

Why not just block him from your newsfeed and not visit his page? Sometimes I think deleting looks petty but it's up to you

If you are moving on, delete!

And who cares what he thinks or anyone else thinks? Its what you think.

Sorry to be blunt, but do you think he would give it a second thought? I doubt it.

Oh I'd delete him and be done with it. I bet if he decided to do a friends cleanup in the morning, you'd be deleted from his.

I was pondering about deleting my Facebook a few months ago for sometime, then when I broke up with her, she was coming up on my news feed and her friends too. Just deleted the whole thing, I will go back on it in time. But you get used to not having it after a while, gives for interesting conversation when your out.

Delete him before he deletes you. You would be kicking yourself for letting him have that final say. Also seeing his newsfeed is affecting you but him seeing yours probably wouldn't bother him in the slightest. People need different circumstances in order to move on and from personal experience I'd say you will have to delete him to help yourself (considering you said he led you on, which always leaves a bitter taste).
Even if he never deletes you its not because he wants to see all your news & pics, its just cause he isn't bothered by it. Why give someone who "isn't bothered" access to your life in that way? You are worth more than that. The psychological benefit of knowing you are the one who deleted him would be a boost too. Relish in the thought that he may notice you have deleted him and get a shock to see you weren't too meek to make that decision and you definitely aren't waiting for him to get back in contact. Imagine his shocked face! Plus lets face it if he wanted to get back in contact wild horses wouldn't stop him.

I have been there myself & I know I prefer that thought to letting someone who has led me on think they have a hold over me. Show him he doesn't.

    Good Luck!

How is this even an issue? If youre not in contact with him and dont want to be reminded of him then delete him. You already know that its what you want to do.

I did this about two weeks ago with a guy, same situation. Awkwardly, he noticed and mailed me about it! So they definitely do notice sometimes...just something to keep in mind.

    Fair play OP!

I completely disagree with people saying "it's petty to delete him".

If anything, when he discovers you deleted him, it will drive him insane. You have the upper :)
