Made my first paracord survival bracelet today. 8' of cord to wear with me should I need it. The kids will be making their own over the next few days too as well as woggles for scouts (in the necko colours).

I have 100' of black cord to make a belt with (probably use about 70-80 for the belt). The buckle is a clasp with an emergency whiste on it.

Anyone any other ideas for cordage items? Thinking of making a lanyard to carry a multitool and/or whistle on. And maybe a collar and lead for the dog. What else can be done with it?

    Rifle sling
Sling for a dump type pouch (saves having it on you belt)
    Watch strap
Ive a few different length straps made up that i sometimes use camping or hunting to carry my first aid / accessories pouch instead of having them on my belt when im not using them they are just clipped to my backpack

I used to put my sling off my rifle onto my pump if i was headin off for the day with that but it was a pain in the arse so i dont bother now, might try my hand at a sling for the pump action. Green paracord will go well with the camo gun!

Meant to mention a watch strap. I've a good sports watch with a broken strap and plan on replacing it with a cord one. It won't be easy - there's not a lot of space between the pin and the watch to get 4 cords through it but I'm sure it's manageable.

Are the straps the same kind of thing as the bracelet? What weaves do you use? The bracelet I made is a cobra weave. The belt will be a 4 warp weave. Both are on instructables.com (not mine).

You can gut the paracord to thread under the pins for a watch strap.
Tie onto it with standard paracord, and tie over it again (King Cobra) to make a chunkier strap, and store more cordage.

Hat band if you wear a hat? A bag strap would store a lot of cord as well.

you should learn how to make a monkey fist ;) not only it looks cool but there is a lot of uses for it.

once you master that one, go with the turk's head - there is many uses for this one as well, which you can then turn into fancy monkey's fist :)

I learned all of those when I was a kid in sailing school - very handy to know and really fun !

If your useing Paracord for a Neck lanyard remember to include a snap/break away buckle, True Paracord is rated for 550lbs and you will not break it by hand
