Hi there We're considering buying a house in Synge St area - there is no off street parking and so we're wondering about availability of parking on street. Disc parking is available to residents but trying to get a sense of whether there are typically enough spaces to go around? Feedback would be much appreciated! Thanks :)

You will likely get at most one permit. http://www.dublincity.ie/RoadsandTraffic/Parking/ResidentsParking/Pages/ResidentsParking.aspx

Parking is likely to be seriously oversubscribed and a permit doesn't guarantee a space.

That said, you have a huge amount of public transport available to you and a vast amount of services close by.
