    Hi guys,Im looking for a really good venue (like a hotel/function room) reasonably cheap and in Dublin City Centre? Anyone any ideas on where and prices?Capacity 80 people.Thanks A Mill

    Hi OP,

    Any bar in Dublin will provide you with a free function room for that amount of people.

    It would depend on the type of crowd going.

    Oil Can Harrys on Mount street offer free platters when you book the function room.

    I would also reccomment the Longstone if you are happy just to have an area in a bar.

    Another good 1 is Cill Airne (The boat) on the Liffey near the O2.

    The Baggott Inn would be a good spot too if you just want an area in a bar.

    I have booked private parties in SamSara and Cafe En Seine and they have been dealt with brilliantly.

    I have booked events with all the above and have never been charged for booking an area and have always gotten free platters of food. its generally 1 platter for every 4 people.

    I would reccomend any of them however i would highly recommend Oil Can Harrys as it has its own private function room where you will have staff just looking after you.
