    Hi all, i'am looking for a wirehaired pointing griffon korthal breeder in ireland as i would be interested in getting a new member in our family.

    You will have to go to the UK. There are a few websites advertising the korthalls wpg. Have you not thought about a gwp ?

    from what i have seen in documentaries this breed is very hard to come by. i think there was a huge effort made to bring in breeding pairs into the uk but never heard mention of them here but i am open to correction.

    True, they brought in breeding pairs from Europe and were advertising pups openly on their UK websites. They seem to have longer shaggy coats that could end up very messy. I have not seen any work on youtube for the UK dogs but there is plenty of American dogs hunting on youtube.
