It doesn't work on all boxes, but it's worth a try.

Where is says 'All' on your list of recorded programmes, hit the left button. You should then see a list of the most recently deleted shows

    http://www.sky.com/products/ways-to-watch/sky-plus/

Found it.................too late........not on the list....That's really good to know!!!!!!:):):)

Was it cofy who said earlier "every day is a learner" or words to that effect?

    Jool's was really good tonight....

Yeah, so sad for Vinnie, you can see the deterioration of his health as the tapes go on......

Pity it's such a waste of space of a channel now.....

Glad no-one's watching my spelling gaffs this evening....

Absolutely. Gay Byrne would have easily run over by 15 minutes if necessary to discuss the major issues of the day. The scene was set there for humdinger TV. you could sense the antipathy of the members of the panel to each other.

And what does Tubs do? He abruptly pulls the plug. Sometimes I feel like he cannot wait to get out of there.

Ireland is a different place nowadays and RTE has changed in light of this (for the worse). Tubs may not have the creative licence that Byrne had. Gay is overrated if you ask me. He is an egotist.

Gay believed his own hype but i have to say if Tubs really doesnt pose the hard questions its because perhaps his fallacy is to have an empathy that Byrne would never understand.

Not a good trait for a talkshow host you could say but is the talkshow lighthearted or of a more serious nature like it was?

I can honestly say I had a bottle of Blue C in the "Bar" (and I loosely say that of my glass shelf with robbed glasses and cocktail sticks) for about 10 years and I didn't know what to do with it...I bought the Cocktail book and no-one would drink the stuff..........:p

Although I can never stop myself from singing the chorus as 'never tell us apart'., as if two identical twins were singing the song :o

I remember getting an english homework question in your opinion what did the author mean in some poem or other. I had just started collecting words of songs in a copy, Madonnas Material Girl. I handed up the wrong copy to the teacher for correction it came back marked "C":eek::eek:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,351 ✭✭✭✭Harry Angstrom

If it's the 1980's we've got to have some Cure

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,585 ✭✭✭✭Lady Chatterton

This is one for the girls.

Every time I broke up with someone I'd play this song over and over. My best friend in Galway and I used to always ring each other when this song came on the radio and we would sing down the phone to each other. When the song would finish, we would hang up and get on with the day. It was a very cheap form of therapy :D
