    Hi,

Order two tablets from hongkongeek.com and they sent me a tracker but has been used before??? Look what they said below. Is this true???

Your parcel has just been delivered to our transporter.

The tracking number is : **********

You can track your parcel 72 hours later (Saturday and Sunday not included) when you click on this link :
    http://www.dhl.com/en/express/tracking/shippers_reference.html

THE ABOVE MENTIONED LINK IS THE ONLY EFFECTIVE LINK TO FOLLOW YOUR PARCEL. ANY QUESTION CONCERNING THE PARCEL WILL BE ANSWERED AFTER THIS 72 HOURS DELAY (SATURDAY AND SUNDAY NOT INCLUDED).

From all my dealings with DHL (And other couriers), once the booking is booked and a tracking number is generated it's available to use immediately. I can't see why they'd need to re-use tracking numbers either.

AFAIK the Tracking number is only valid when picked up from the location, until then its just a label that hasn't been entered into the system until the courier has picked it up.

DHL tracking numbers are active as soon as the shipment is generated, but if the courier hasn't scanned it, it will just show that the shipment information has been generated until it has been scanned. DHL do not re-issue tracking numbers. AFAIR, most DHL customers are given a certain range for their tracking numbers, once that range is used, they are issued with a new range.

Yep, DHL definitely reuse tracking numbers, as do TNT.

Give it 24/48 hours and they should update the CN with your shipment details.
