Any results from this? I don't see anything on website. Biggest competition of the year in Judo in Ireland and no results 3 days after competition, not exactly good promotion of the sport :(

It's a shame I missed this thread. With the Luas going all the way to Citywest it's never been easier to get out there.

I definitely would have went had I seen this thread. Ah well, hopefully next year or maybe sooner if they have a free admission tournament for spectators.

Shame you didn't come, you could have seen me get chucked around like a small child.

I don't think there's anything in Dublin until the All Irelands in late January, early February. They don't charge admission for spectators at judo competitions, but you may be asked to take part in a €5 raffle.

Will definitely go if a thread is posted up here as a reminder. Would have no problem paying a 5er for a raffle ticket either. I have some limited grappling experience doing BJJ for about 6 months but I am mainly a karate man, doing it nearly 11 years. But despite my limited grappling background, understand what is going on and I think judo is a very aesthetically pleasing and beautiful martial art when done right. Love to watch youtube video's of textbook Ippon's, it's a badass art and one I have great admiration and respect for.
