    Hi All,

I finally received my grades for my Masters. I am delighted to have got a 2.1 grade but I am only 2.3% off a 1.1. I am just wondering is it worth my while to get my grades reviews or since the grades have been released so late (less than a month before graduation) is it a lost cause?

You are delighted to have been awarded a 2:1, yet you're debating having it rechecked?

Greediness maybe? I have the 2.1 and that is not going to change. However, if there is the possibility that I could scrape a 1.1 grade why not pursue it? It is a tough job market for graduates so any sort of edge against the competition is a plus.

2.3% is a fair bit of a first, your looking for a 5% jump in half your modules

Thanks. Yeah, I was working it out last night. It is a big jump that is highly unrealistic in fairness. I shouldn't be complaining really a decent 2.1 is a a good grade to have.

You're unlikely to have much luck getting it increased if you're on a 67.7 overall.
Faculties will usually bump you up if you're on a 69-69.9 but 67.7 is a bit too much of a stretch.

    Congrats on the H2.1.

Highly unlikely to be brought up that much unless you have a big issue with the marks you got on a lot of your modules.
