hey, so I did mock test today with ADI.
Outcome is very ****, he said not bad but few things to work on, here is the result:

Observation: Moving off : 3 x Grade 2 (he it's all just about blind spots, other than that I am ok with observations)

Observation: Turning Left: 3 x Grade 2 (same thing - blind spots)

Reaction to hazards: Reaction: 3 x Grade 2 (I took the speed bump closer to kerb even though there was a car parked 2 metres from it, I swirled from side, also in blind/closed turns, I rushed through in 2nd gear, while he said I should've creeped out slowly in 1st gear.

Vehicle Controls: Gears: 3 x Grade 2 (he said I take speed bumps too fast)

Traffic Controls: Road Markings: 2 x Grade 3 (I missed two awkward STOP signs in finglas, it has road marking but no sign whatsoever)

So any suggestions how to take bumps?
ADI said that if it's split speed bump, if I decide to take it with both wheels around then 3rd gear is ok, if I decide to take two wheels on two bumps then 2nd gear.

If it's a one solid big speed bump, he said if it's flat enough 3rd gear is ok, otherwise 2nd.

    Any suggestions how to improve?

On my ADI's advice, I've always taken speed bumps in second gear (usually braking from third just before). I did my test in August (failed!) and on the route there is a road with 5 speed bumps, I used this method and got on fine. I got no Grade 3's, just a couple more Grade 2's than allowed, mostly for observation, which wasnt too bad considering I was only driving my car a week! Best of luck!

I think the problem with speed bumps is that they're all different! Get as familiar as you can with the ones on your test route so then you'll know what gear/speed to do for each road.

If in doubt use extra caution for the first one (likely to be multiple ones of the same time on each road, so once you do the first one you'll have a better idea of how to take the rest of them).
