Triax TR112 Freezing

Hi lads. My Triax TR112 freezes/stops for about a second every now and again. The picture just freezes and then unfreezes so to speak. There's no pixelation or anything and my signal strength and quality are both showing at 100%. It seems worse on RTE 2 HD...I think (as I rarely watch any of the other channels). Anyone else experiencing this?

How long do you have the box?

Did you get a new aerial installed recently?

Is it any better/worse with different weather conditions?

I have it over a year and that's when the aerial was installed too. The weather has no effect on it.

I have the same problem, but it gets worse in windy weather. We have trees across the way and it interferes with the signal. Will have to move aerial up higher..

I thought you might have had the same problem.

That's interesting. I have what can only be described as a forest of trees next to my house. Maybe it has something to do with them.

*edit*...I have an Ariva 250 upstairs. I recorded RTE 2 HD on that and simultaneously watched RTE 2 HD on the Triax downstairs....waited for the freezing to happen...which it did...but there was no trace of any freezing on the Ariva's TS file when played back so it must be the box then.
