Hi I have a Peugeot 304 1.4 petrol with very heavy steering in it most of the time but every now and again it goes back to normal we changed the power steering pump, fluid and belt but it is still the same any idea of what else could be the problem I have a spare 306 so I have all the parts that might need to be changed.

Pipes might be crusty inside, rubber pipes might be breaking down internally and restricting the flow. Happened to us, not on a Pug though, worth a shot :)
