Nexus 7 - €209 in HMV

So do I get this today in HMV for €209 or wait to see what happens at the Android event next week? I wouldn't be too bothered if they only made the 16gb model the cheap one and got rid of the 8gb one, memory doesn't concern me much, the price is the main thing.

Anyone think the new price, if there is one, will be below 209 euro?

Depends on how true the rumours are and how patient you are, it's been suggested the price of the 16gb will fall to €199, but it could take months for that price to filter through to Ireland so for the sake of ten euro it might be worth picking up now or just wait till Monday to see what happens and pick one up on Tuesday if nothing at the event grabs your attention.

Yeah, I also heard there will be a $99 nexus 7 as well but that has to sacrifice some hardware quality. Think I'll just go for this then, thanks!

So the 32gb Nexus will 'officially' be unveiled on Monday, but it's leaked all over the net already. All I want to know is how long before Irish/UK retailers get them in stock? Also likely to be a decent price drop in the 16gb model and maybe they might get rid of the 8gb completely.

Had a look in cork today, they are out of stock with no sign of them coming back in.

Tesco have them for 279 though

The are 32gb in PC world in the UK. I tried hard to buy one this weekend but no way would they despite not having any 16gb models in stock:(
