Buying from main dealer that is not local to me

Been looking for a car for a while and finally found one that has the spec/colour that I want but the car is from a main Toyota dealer that is about two hours drive from where I live. The car is 2008 costs about 11K and comes with 12 month warranty.

Is it worth travelling down for the car or should I just continue my wait and search. Basically I just worry that if there is problem with the car I think I'll be stuck even it does come with a year warranty.

if it's a warranty from a main Toyota dealer does that not mean it is covered by all Toyota dealerships?

If it's from a Toyota dealer the warranty can be claimed on in any Toyota dealer should you need to. I wouldn't worry about travelling to get the right car.

A Toyota used car warranty is valid throughout the country's Toyota dealer network. Just verify with the garage that it is a Toyota used warranty and not exclusive to the specific dealer.

It's only 2 hours which isn't a lot. Just make sure its a nationwide warranty and you're all good.

The last vehicle I bought was a 1 way, 4.5 hour flight away with a 4 day/3000 km drive home with a private seller for an 18 year old Toyota with 300k Km on the clock!

It's probably a lot if for some reason the car is not driving or can't be driven that far for a repair.

Yes you could get it towed, but then you have to inconvenience someone for a lift there.

OP, get the dealer to clarify and if it is nationwide, get it in writing
