If say you are in VHI and going to work for a few years in England what is the main advantages of taking out their Global Health Insurance apart from not having to incur the usual waiting periods when you return here and rejoin the Vhi. I appreciate that when you are on holidays here or on weekends you would not have private cover. I am writing this in the knowledge that one would be satisfied with the NHS in England. The annual premium for the global cover is 850 euros
