I'm guessing thats from a urine sample? If so 2 years.

Loads of information here - http://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/travel_and_recreation/motoring_1/driving_offences/drink_driving_offences_in_ireland.html

EDIT: If blood sample its 3 years.

2 years I think not sure
At 173 she shouldn't be allowed on the road again IMO

I'm assuming thats a blood test reading. As she is over 135mg she will have to go to court. And as she is exceeding 150mg, its a minimum 3 year ban. This is all based on blood test results, so can you clarify? It's a minimum 2 year ban, if thats urine test results.

I am not sure where he got this priest from, but it definitely wasn't highest reading anywhere.
Poland - about 700, and there was a pedestrian knocked out who had 1200. He survived, couldn't answer any question for 2 days tough.
I know it won't answer you question, but it shows what you can expect.
That 1200 reading was equivalent to six 3 litres of Vodka consumed. Glad he had no car.

    Sorry OP for OT.

Results like 1200 or similar your get not just drinking once, but pretty much by drinking permanently for few weeks or months.

Sinlgle consumption of such amount of alocohol resulting in 1200 reading, would lead to instant death.

Does not apply to Poland, and Russia - i was told...

Someone with reading as high is considered to be an addict, so is person driving with levels of be it 300, or 700, be it urine or blood, or breath.
No need to discuss it any further...

    Linky
Of the 2300 teenagers caught since 2007, 12 have had more than 1000ml of alcohol in their blood - more than 12 times the legal adult limit.

    New Zillund

    I suppose it's a typo as 1000ml equals to 1 litre.
No way someone could have 1 litre of pure alcohol in his blood.
