I would have thought your local welfare office is the best place to start

Voluntary organisations like charity shops, community radio stations, community centres and the like would be good.

Plenty of them would be visiting this forum and the State Benefits forum, but you can't advertise on the site, so I'd imagine that asking for them to contact you would be a no-no unless a mod approves it.

Aside from that, social welfare offices on sign on days, post offices, and advertise on places like Gumtree, Facebook, etc.

    INOU

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Are you looking to hire people or are you doing some type of survey? I think you can advertise on the FAS site for free.

It's suspicious when the OP won't explain why he/she want contact with unemployed people! Why a totally lack of openness and information?
