    Just wondering. I'm living in a rented house which has a tv point in all rooms but they are not connected to an ariel.
    Is it possible to get saorview? We have sky in living room nd a wired sky eye in our room as it above living room but u have to watch same on both TVs

    It is not possible to get saorview without an aerial. Where do you think the signal would come from?

    you have about 18 hours left to test reception with you existing TV's
    - after that signal checks will need to be done with digital receivers.

    check the map on the saorview site to see how close the nearest transmitter is , get a pound shop aerial and try to tune in TV3 or TG4


    an attic aerial will probably work (hint give your location) but it's getting the cable down to the tv that's the problem

    if all else fails you could probably (how long is a piece of string) put an aerial in the back garden and have a video sender sending the signal from a saorview box at the back of the house
