Wheelbuild(er) Costs?

Rather than just hitting the shops for a suitable wheelset I’m considering of building my own wheels for my latest project, 29er SS steel framed MTB. Searching through previous threads on similar subjects the OP’s are generally encouraged by those that have already done so however I’d like to be able to cost it out first.…

Searching through previous threads on similar subjects the OP’s are generally encouraged by those that have already done so however I’d like to be able to cost it out first.
So perhaps some of ye guys may be able to give a rough cost estimate for the following?
The building of a wheel by a local wheel builder with parts supplied Vs the cost of final tensioning & trueing of a supplied laced wheel?

give holyboy a shout - he built up wheels for me and lots of people on here, and should be able to give you an exact price.
