summons to court for excise duty?

    Hi all i got summons to court for excise duty on my vehicle. What does this mean?

    All help appreciated!

    Did you not pay the VRT? You better contact the Revenue tomorrow.

    Its a 2004 van. I bought it in 2008. Its been Irish registered since new.

    I have a jeep before it? But it has the van registration number on the summons.

    Just have a wander down to the local garda station and see if they can explain further.

    Maybe its a mistake.

    Is it a revenue summons or AGS. What exact section of which act are you accused of breaching.
