Renault Kangoo Digital Clocks

    Hi all,

    This is an unusual problem but maybe someone can help. I drive an 08 Renault Kangoo (an old post van) For the past month or so the low fuel indicator light is always on even when there is loads of diesel in it, its also got a digital dial and keeps flashing so I can't tell how much diesel is in it ever. I just have to keep it topped up and keep a mental record of how much I drive, it's a pain! Iv been to about 3 garages ( one was an electrical specialist) and each one said they had not the foggiest idea what was wrong and it would probably take them a few days to figure it out, but that would cost me an arm and a leg in labour cost. One mechanic told me I needed the "digtal clocks" replaced and sent me to a few scrap yards to see if there were any kangoo's with spare parts but to no avail (iv been to 4 already). I can't find any online to buy new. I don't know what to do really, Iv already ran out of diesel once and im sure it wasn't good for it.Can anyone help or know what might be the problem?
