Where to for New Years? Mijas?

Looking to get away for the new year. Ideally would like to go to Lanzarote or P.Rico because your almost guaranteed the weather.

It's working out to be very expensive though. We have an option of Mijas in Spain but I'm unsure what the weather would be like and what that part of Spain would be like at that time of year.

    Anybody have any input?

    Thanks.

Hey, I've been living on Spain the past few years, further down the coast from Mijas though. Well, you could have fantastic weather (in 20s say) but you could also have rain and a lot of it. It's a chance really. The problem with a place like this is, there's not an awful lot to do when it's raining. :-(
