    Hi All,

My friend gave me his PC to have a look as it keeps freezing on him. Ive checked it out and a while after I power it on it freezes up and needs to be rebooted manually (holding power button)

Ive checked the event logged and there seems to be a load of errors but im not sure what exactly to look for. Ive also checked the msconfig and deleted all startup apps=seemed to improve for a while but still froze after a while.

Ive ran virus checks and malware scans and nothin came up. Also nothin has been recently installed that looks like it can cause harm. im presuming there is an issue with drivers and worse case his hard drive??

My next step is to wipe and re-install window but I just want to see if any1 can think of anything before I go ahead???

Any help is much appreciated :)
