hi guys I bought the revision book to study for the theory test. I also noticed someone on boards recommending http://www.quizglobal.com/ViewQuizByID.aspx?QuizID=161 this site to do practice tests.
Does any one know if this online test has ALL of the possible questions that may come up? I only have an older edition cd rom so have been using the online quiz to practice but now I am worried it doesnt contain all of the questions I need to be able to answer.

    Thanks :)

Im not gong to lie. What I would do, is go out and by the latest version of the CD-Rom at least that way you will have piece of mind that it will have all the questions on it.

I did mine a few years ago, l learned from the dvd and the book. lm pretty sure the book had all the questions plus it was so handy to carry it around with me & could read it in bed, if you can get the book & dvd, but make sure its the latest one.

    Good luck :)

Better start studying it :D I just kept taking the test on the disk in all honesty the questions well most the are common sense a few you will need to learn from the disc mainly stopping distances, good luck anyways you'll pass it dont worry.

I personally found the book better to study with.

First time I did the test I just used the CD and failed by 2. Second time I only used the book and got 100% You're guaranteed to come across all the questions when using the book and it's easier to use, you can read it in bed, on the train, bring it around with you, etc.

I have the CD and have been practicing for awhile now, my test isn't until December. I have done 795 questions out of 845. I keep doing the tests but no new questions have come up since the last 10 exams.. How do I finish off the last 50 :/

I found that the ones that kept coming up most an the easiest came up on the test I only went throught 500 of the questions got 40/40 finished it in 5 mins its impossible to fail if you've any cop on.

I would recommend that anyone doing the theory test (5th edition) should use this online website with the practice questions. Trust me, they are the ones that came up. Having done the theory test in June, I quickly revised the questions a few days before, with the odd look at the rules of the road which I had. Turns out this website is great coz I got 40/40 in the test. Don't even know how.. Plus it's free. So the best thing to do would be to save your money buying the cd rom and use the online website.

    Good luck to everyone :)

I did my test a few weeks ago. I got 39/40. I had been using the out-of-date 4th edition CD. Can anyone tell me the actual answer to the question I got wrong?

    The question was:

What is the distance a car can travel when it stops suddenly on a dry road at 100km?

    a. 72 metres
    b. 82 metres
    c. 92 metres

In the 4th edition the answer was 77 metres so I thought to be safe I'd go for 82. Was the correct answer 72?
