If you have friends/ contacts the other side if the border, I'd be asking them to keep an eye out.

Was it robbed with the key?

If not was it one of those keyless entry models, there's there's a blind spot for the alarm where the thiefs can break the window, connect to the ODB socket and reprogram a new key from a blank and then drive it away, more info here http://www.bmw.co.uk/bmwuk/about/news/0,,1156__181270000_,00.html

grr hate these storis...Will keep an eye in dublin...make sure to ring the toll companies i.e eflow for M50 or if you have a tag check if any transactions are on the account

...other then that check the underground carparks, etc in the surrounding areas..if Cavan is anything like Leitrim I'm sure theres a few apartment complexes about.

probably like 99% of houses in this country

euro cyclinder + vice grips = in the door 20 seconds later

Quick question about all these break-ins for keys and driving away. Do none/some/any/all of these houses have alarms?

It's starting to look like the best investment you can make in a nice car is a house alarm!
