BBC Wildlife Magazine - where to get it in Dublin?!

Hi everyone! Only recently started getting into this magazine but really love it! Both informative and plenty of pics. It'd be better if it also discussed Ireland, but obviously our flora and fauna are similar to that of the UK.

I can't find it in Dublin though, having checked plenty of shops including Easons on O'Connel street, which I thought was a sure bet! Anyone know of a shop that stocks it regularly in Dublin city centre or in the general Dundrum/Rathfarnham area?

    Any help appreciated! :)

worth asking again in easons - it's a safe bet that they'd be the importers.

Easons definitely stock it, I get it from them now and again down here. Might just need to check another branch.

    why dont you subscribe?
I don't know whether it's still the case, but a few years back I tried to organise a subscription to another BBC magazine (Good Food) and it all seemed very difficult and awkward to arrange somehow for anyone outside of the UK (you're based in NI I think?). It wasn't cheap either when you took postage into account.

I've seen it in Eason's or Read's plenty of times. And there's a new issue just out this week so it should be easy enough to get at the moment.

The subscriptions for UK magazines always annoy me. £36 with a free book for 13 issues if you're in the UK. £43 but no freebie if you're in Europe. :(

Well worth picking up the latest issue anyhow, there's a free 76-page portfolio of the Wildlife Photographer of the year winners in it.
Think the December issue usually has a pretty decent calendar too.

A Hearvee said, you can definitely get it in Reads. You might have just been unlucky the time you checked Easons.

Thanks for the replies everyone! Never thought of Reads so I'll definitely give there a look, and will double check Eason's just in case. It might be the case that my timing has been bad and it's been sold out, but hopefully with the new issue only out a few days it might increase my chances of finding it!

Re: the subsciption, like was said above, you don't get the same discount/benefits when you subscribe as you would if you lived in the UK, and I've heard people saying they had similar problems to Alun!

It sells out very quickly, so maybe they dont stock many copies, but Easons
do stock it and a few good newsagents, why not ask in your local newsagent
to order in a copy for you, you just have to commit to buy it every month.
