McCaw penalised for not rolling away. A date for the history books.

I thought for a second that Lawrence was gonna bin him for team repeat infrinement aswell!
    Nearly lost my life.
    Too early for this.

    - Unrelated. But terrible to hear about that player in the ITM cup match :O

It's a day of miracles. The All Blacks have now been penalised for crossing....and one has been yellow carded. Ref stood and watched McCaw playing the ball on the floor and ignores it then bins Woodcock in the next play.

Ah to be fair I forgive him that.
At least he is penalising Macaw some of the time xD cant be expecting him to penalise him AND bin him! xD
Imagine the NZ media if he did... xD

Don't worry, he was back to his old tricks at the 79 minute mark

Sitting on the deck after the ruck batting at the ball in the hands of the nine in full view of the referee

Who wants to be an international ref for one day just to troll McCaw? :D

Is it on youtube?? Only I've never actually seen him being penalised for anything

I bet he hasn't even got penalty points on his license :o

Say what you like, but I thought it was damn courageous of McCaw to go for the win at the end, rather than kick the ball into touch and settle for the draw. Could have back-fired if NZ had given away a penalty, but in the end if Carter had been accurate with his droppie it would have stolen a remarkable win.

Doesn't need a licence. Any cop who stopped him would surely just wave him on...

So, no noticeable difference between a 'cop & a 'ref then ;)

Also when it comes to waving on punches/kicks/eye gouges to McCaw's head...

I wouldnt say that was all too courageous.

Go for the win to equal the all time winning streak world record in rugby and hope to set a new one...

or give up and settle for the draw...

Every professional rugby player ever would make the same decision.

I seriously doubt that record even entered McCaw's head during that decision

Disagree. I think many sides would have settled for the draw, rather than risk the loss.

Which he'd never receive if he stayed on his side of the line.........he's not exactly a shrinking violet himself ;)

I just don't understand why people keep thinking that being offside etc justifies deliberate violence on the field.

Regardless of the player, I think there is no place on the field for eye gouging or headbutting, and I don't know why people seem to think there is. Because it's McCaw everyone just shrugs their shoulders, but let's say it was Sean O'Brien or Stephen Ferris or Jamie Heaslip, and I bet people would post differently.

I think it's amazing that McCaw continues to resist the temptation to hit back physically on the field, and relies on the judiciary to (sometimes) do its job.

Refer to my jealousy/inferiority complex links. It explains the mentally of those posts perfectly.

While the point of your post is correct. You're bordering on hysterics

Plenty of players get targeted for that kind of rough treatment, not just McCaw.
