Hippie/apollo campers?

Booked a hippie camper for 8 days to do a bit of traveling.
Read some reviews after I booked, maybe a bad idea, and seems a lot of people had bad reviews. Hiden charges, bad service and generally getting f**ked over by them.
Anyone got any stories good or bad?

I rented a hippie camper for few weeks to travel around Victoria a couple of years ago. I had no issues at all, except for big stupid flowers painted on the van. If they are still a subsidiary of Apollo you should be fine as they are a reputable company and I have always had positive experiences with them.

You might want to consider reduced excess insurance though, as the excess for most campers is $$$.
