Booking flights for someone else

    Hi Lads,

Going to be booking some flights tomorrow and have a quick question. Googled around a bit and can't find much, so said I would post it here and maybe someone could lend a hand.

A friend of mine is coming from France to Dublin next week and is going to be flying ryanair. She has the cash in hand, but no way of getting it into her account. So I'm going to book it for her on my card and she'll give me the 100quid or so when she gets over.

I'm in dublin and if I book her flights and get her boarding pass for her, presumably they will be exactly the same as any boarding pass I've gotten in the past.

However, if she's in France, does she need 'french' boarding passes or anything? I know this probably sounds stupid and it sounds fairly dumb while I'm writing this.

I would assume if you're in france and you book a flight, your boarding passes will be in French. I'm just wondering if me booking her flights for her, in Dublin, will cause any hassle, because, I assume, the boarding passes will be in English...

Basically, should there be any trouble, me booking flights for a friend, coming from another country?

There will be no problem at all. It doesn't matter where the boarding pass is printed. When its printed there will be a part on it (like a barcode but it's not a barcode) that's scaned at the airport. This part will be unique to that passenger on that flight. It doesn't matter where or what language the boarding pass is printed in, the part that's scanned will not change.

How can you get her boarding pass for her? She needs the boarding pass to get on the plane.

I book it for her, but it goes to her email. she prints it off and checks in with it.

No problem there - I misunderstood your earlier post.
