If you were on the beta, I think you got a silent install of the new update (the Beta page disappears from the Dash).

haven't gotten it yet:( anybody know when the smartglass app is out? was thinking of buying a chatpad to type in Explorer but I heard that I could just use my iphone with smartglass.

It will be out on Windows Surface tablet next few weeks, but iOS(iPhone/iPad) they said within the next year*

On MS own site they say its available on My XBox app but I assume this does not have all the features just yet

Nope i wasnt on any beta or anything like that .

I was in the Beta but now the word Beta has vanished from the dashboard so I guess i have the final install. There were so many updates I lost track of what was going on so I got the silent install I suppose.

Update was a phased rollout, Last day for everyone was yesterday, so everybody should have it by now. If not, go to xbox.com/update and check out doing a manual install from a USB. PLEASE don't download the bootlegged version from mediafire, it'll fry your hard drive and it's possible you'll get a console ban. If doing a manual update, only get the download form xbox.com
