    Hello,
I have never studied physics before but really want to start to study it at home. What is the best way to start?

    Step One:

Watch these few lectures by Richard Feynman

    Step Two:

Work through some of the stuff in MIT's open courses in physics.

Buy a book called "University Physics" by Young and Freedman and read from cover to cover.

Excellent book that will make a man out of you and I think its accessible for anyone with basic LC maths.
