Dublins' Play FM 93.2 ceased transmissions on Sunday evening October 14th.

The long running dance station announced the decision and reasons on their website.

such a shame, it was badly needed in the dublin dance market and will be a loss, glad it was the owner/owners that got to pull the plug though and not comreg, they got a good run at it, best of look to the owner/owners, a lot of hard work was put into it and you could tell, all though the signal could have been better in some areas, RIP play fm, hopefully something good will pop on soon and 93.2 will be active again.

Am sorry that there gone, I didnt notice as I found it hard to tune into them on 93.2 which wasnt a great choice of frequency in Dublin due to Rte on either side of them, the music was good and a different style of dance music was provided by them, at least Comreg didnt have there day !
