Hi all, i was just wondering does anyone know a rough time of how long it takes before you know if u are approved or refused?

i applied the start of september, and got a text message around the 23rd saying my application has been received and is now been assessed...

i know it could be months, but just wanted to know around how long :( times are hard...

Just to give you an indication, it appears to be about 10 months from Application to getting "the letter", due to the backlog, but this may be getting less....

    see my post here

I applied last November, got that letter yesterday....so pretty long wait....

at least you got a text saying it was being processed, I had to make a formal complaint to DSP to get this acknowledgement!!!

and I agree, times are indeed hard, but try to struggle on, and check up with them regularly. best of luck....
