    hey,

I applied for a position I really want to a recuitment agency last week. They emailed me saying that should I meet the requirements my CV would be forwarded to the company.
Last Friday they emailed me saying that I had met the requirements and they had forwarded my Cv to the company and told me the company' s name and that the company would be in contact directly if I was chosen for interview.

As of yet I haven't heard anything. would it be ok to call the company directly to express my interest and ensure that reviewed my CV?

    Thanks

Generally it's not 'the done thing' to contact a company directly if an agency is handling the recruitment and has already put you forward (not wanting to deal with candidates directly could be part of the reason why the company is using an agency to begin with!).

Give the recruitment consultant a call and ask where they are with it and when they're expecting an answer one way or the other.
