Hi,

I bought this microsoft bluetooth keyboard for my htpc build.It works great when connected but if left idle for any more than a minute or two it is a pain to get going again as it goes into a sleep mode which i cannot seem to disable. I bought the mouse to go with it and that works fine. When that goes into sleep mode i just need to click once and it wakes. with the keyboard it may wake after 3 or 4 keypresses or sometimes i may have to press keys 60-70 times, then when it does wake it enters all the keys i pressed so i have to delete them all again before i can use the keyboard for what i initially wanted.

Has anyone any advice with regard disabling this sleep mode? I went into device manager and under network adapter i changed the bluetooth one so it cant turn off power to save energy but it made no difference.
