Hi guys not sure if this is the right place to post but here goes. The younger brother (18) is looking for insurance on his new car its a 1.2 clio 2001. I have been looking online at all the usual car insurers but the cheapest quote i can get for him with my dad on it is £4400 which is madness for a £500 car considering on aviva.ie its €1700.

Does any of you know where to go to get a decent quote for him up the north?

Ring around to brokers, I've never had a good quote online here, I will always get better by ringing. Even ringing a broker after getting a quote online will often result in a lower premium.

The quotes you've gotten so far sound nuts:eek:

If you have watched any UK daytime TV you will see it's full of personal injury no win no fee adverts, most UK insurance is more expensive than it is here.
