what's an acceptable reading between lives joined and cpc on 100m coil 1.5t+e?

    i was measuring 300M ohm on a coil today-seems a bit low?

    300,000,000 ohms is pretty high
I would be happy enough with that if I were you:)

I would imagine that if you tested it at 500V or 230VAC the meter would read infinity.

Either way you are well covered.

Likely be a higher reading if you roll it out as well. 300 meg is fine.

    250v
i doubt it on the one i was using
    it goes way up
    i was reading 4000 megohm on 2.5 t+e

    thats what had me curious

i think the other one which is in for calibration shows infinity at a much lower
    IR reading
