the rule says if there's no exposed conductive parts -no class1appliance
-connect local bond to protective conductor or earthing terminal on equipment

does this apply to everything ,shaver lites, electric showers etc.?
is this in case the equipment is changed later for a metallic type?

i had the question typed up wrongly

the rule defines a class 1 appliance as an appliance having an exposed conductive part which i believe is incorrect

i get it so, if i disregard that confusing definition of a class1 appliance
