Medical work experience?

Hi all,
Long time lurker here! If this post is against any rules, mods feel free to delete. I'm applying as a mature student to medicine this coming year. I've loads of work experience (caring for a close relative for 3 years, St. Johns ambulance, CHI, UNICEF, B.I.T.E, DSPCA) but nothing within a hospital or with a GP. This is not for lack of trying!!! I've emailed 10 different hospitals, most replied with a very nice 'No, but good luck with your career' etc. I knew going in to this process that this sort of experience would be challenging with patient confidentiality so I'm desperate and reaching out to the medics on boards.

If any of your lovely people want to take pity on me and recommend a specific consultant that you are aware allows shadowing, a hospital I haven't thought of or even just a vague point in the right direction, please feel free to PM me.
