M1911 Frame - marui compatible

    Hi folks,

For a project I'm about to start I'm looking for a marui compatible, (so Bell, Tercel, KJ works etc will do) metal or abs plastic single-stack Colt M1911 frame.

I don't need the slide or any of the components in it - if it comes to it, I don't need the grips or springs on the frame either, but let me know what you've got and we'll see.

Just to be clear, SW 1911 PDs or WE P14s are no good to me - I need a single stack frame only. So maybe you upgraded your marui with a metal frame, or maybe your Bell cracked it's slide (oo-er missus :) ). I'd be interested in what's left..

    Thanks for listening,
    T.C.

KSC any good to you ?

Honestly, I don't know.. From a frame point of view, provided it fits a marui-sized mag it could be fine.

    What's the offer?

To be honest I don't know if it is Mauri compatable, I know KWA and KSC are compatable with each other, Can you send a pic of the part and I will have a look and see, The part is here for you, I do not have it advertised and will not take an offer if anyone elese jumps your thread, Ask in the Tech forum if it will work, The only reason |I have it is I got a donor 1911 to fix mine as I could not get parts online,

    Rgds mate

hi guys, work gets in the way of replying quickly.. :D

@J a p: I don't think I'll chance the KSC one - I know they're very different to the Marui ones. Thanks for the offer, but no thank you.

@OBR: Thanks for the offer mate. It's a little more than I wanted to pay just to salvage the frame, and I wasn't looking for silver finish. Any chance of a pic and a verdict on 20 squid for the frame only?
