Following on from this and this....

Anyone who missed out on the original order for a Rapha hat can join us here. The first group of 35 or so received theirs a few weeks ago and they all seem to be extremely happy with their purchase (no complaints anyway).

Normally cost €40 + 15 for shipping, there is free shipping for orders of three or more and I expect a minimum of a 10% discount (to be confirmed) if we have least 10 people. The final price for the first group came to €32 per hat. More info: http://www.rapha.cc/winter-hat

Id definitely be interested! I got one last year for herself and i'm always jealous! Its a great hat. I didnt get in on the last cos i felt sorry for the poor orderer with so many people going in on it!!

Just as a reminder they we given 10% off for having an order of 10. They ended up with 35 or so and managed to get 20% off.
So I reckon we'll need similar numbers for them to come in at 32! See the thread for the previous order here.

I've been in contact with TheBlahMan who organised the last order. He took payment mostly via PayPal. I guess I will do the same as it's nice to have a record of transactions etc. Payment MUST be upfront.

I'm awaiting a reply to an email on Rapha to get the final price at 32. They offered 10% straight away on a minimum order of 10 hats so I told them that we have at least 30 on Friday. They close on the weekends so I'm hoping to hear back today!

Edit: The guy who I was talking to/emailing is away until Thursday!

So I heard back from Rapha today and they said "The best we can offer is 10% off with free shipping".

This is after I had asked them for more than 10% (which they offered initially) considering that:

They offer 10% + free shipping anyway;
They offer 20-25% off their bundle deals;
My order would be substantially larger (€€€) than any of their bundle deals;
They'd have 30+ happy customers that they wouldn't have had otherwise.

Really bizarre that they won't offer us the 20% off as well! Not sure if it's worth the bulk order now.

Aye, the main impediment to buy the hat was the €15 shipping! They offer free shipping with orders over €120.
