    Rathfarnham
    Sportsworld
    Dundrum
    Tallaght

are my local clubs, but which should I join?

Ideally the club would have trail/hill runners & sessions in winter and would help me improve my 5km to HM times initially, along with XC and IMRA races.

I'm based close to Bushy Park but I don't mind travelling too far if it ticks all the other boxes.

    Thanks!

we don't want you. ;) only jokin, check the IMRA website and you'll see rathfarnham wsaf feature quite a lot so there would be plenty of people to run with/work off.

I didn't realise you were in Knocklyon. That's only a warmup away ;-) What kind of hill running would you do? Many IMRA runners?

geld is a member and IMRA runner, he's dragged a few people out now and again :)
But most of our hill running is training sessions on Stocking Lane or the odd long run up Ticknock way, we wouldn't have a team in the WW relay or anything...

You'd "enjoy" those Stocking Lane sessions. I felt that they were a big help to me in the IMRA races this year. You're welcome to try one (or a few) out some Tuesday.
