gearbox problem

Hello iv a renault megane van. Gearbox went in it today. Just enquiring would a gearbox from a non facelift van fit it? Don't know if this a stupid question, but just want to make sure. Thanks

There are 2 different of megavans, I'm assuming yours is the facelift of the last model (up to 09) is it 5 speed or 6 speed?

Assuming its 1.5?

Far s I remember the facelift megavan was also 1.9 non turbo.

I may well stand corrected but I think they're the same engine and probably the same gearbox. There may be small differences, the likes of naas gearbox centre would know if they're compatible.
