What are you looking for, and what night of the week at that?

Only two permanent clubs, George and Dragon. There's other clubnights on specific nights of the week.

Try Andrews Lane Theatre on a Friday (only fridays).
Good craic, young crowd, think its like a 10er in.

Unfortunitly there isnt a massive amount of choice really.

Think Danalion (on stephens green) do a night on Tuesday, never been cant comment on it really.

    George
    Wildes
    Dragon
    Panti-Bar
    Front Lounge
Are the main pubs and clubs in Dublin

    From my experience

George more trendy popy music, youngish crowd (except Jurassic) tends to be clique and bitchy, fairly high on both the camp/ butch spectrum!

Wildes haven't been yet so don't know.

Dragon very multicultural, best music policy if your into EDM, very mixed crowd but the age range is predominantly in the 20-30 age bracket.

Panti Bar generally older crowd don't really know how to describe the music policy as its a bit eclectic, music downstairs is usually house though. A LOT of bears!

Front Lounge, not as much a club as a late bar, ladies down the front, men up the back and never the twain shall meet. Music policy is a bit like the bag of odd socks you might keep in your laundry, some lovely individuals but nothing ever matches up! Crowd is very mixed in terms of age and spectrum.

I agree with everything StephenN says but would add that Wilde is alright on a Saturday night. Gets packed though and has a large crowd of youngish to 30s for the most part. I haven't been in on other nights but some have told me it can be fairly quiet on those nights.

Mother across the lane from back of Front Lounge on Saturday nights only, is worth a visit too if you are into dance/lesser known 80s retro synthesizer type music. Gets busy later on - mixed ages.

Glitz (if it's still called that) is on Tuesday in Dandelion. It is mainly students/20somethings.
