Well lads do any of ye use the infrared lamps for yer dogs for the winter. My box infairness is well insulated. A lad told me you would get an extra few years out of the dog if you look after him in winter. I seen one with a thermostat on it which would be handy, could leave it on all the time and it just come on when it drops below what you have it set for.

I wouldn't have it in to much either just if its really cold at nite. I wouldn't have it constantly on during the day and all

Well i mean you could set the thermostat to -1 degress and only when it drops below that in the box it would come on and heat up the box then cut off again. it might only be on for few hours in one night.

If the box is well insulated it won't need much heat anyway I suppose but I think and I'm not sure that the termo stat will keep the box at whatever temp its set at. In my box I had a heater on a time clock and I had it on for a couple of mins every so often. Because in my mind I wanted to keep the box warm enough where the dogs heat the rest of it them selves because they produce heat anyway.
Frost stat is a good idea infairness
