Cheaper way is just make an ordinary coffee and put Baileys in instead of Milk, GREAT way to get rid of a hangover ;)

Can anyone recommend a selection of espresso blends from Baileys that they've tried and liked?

I'm having mixed feelings about Bailies. Signed up for a 6 mth espresso sub on Sunday gone (14th Oct). I received the first bag yesterday - roast date was 27th Sept! Also ordered an additional bag of filter - it had a slighter better roast date but it was still the 9th Oct.

They don't seem to roast to order alright my filter bags had that date as well got them Wednesday ordered on sunday night.

In fairness to them they came back to my email fairly promptly.

On single estate orders / subs:
We try to make sure that the single estate coffee we send to our customers is as fresh as it can be, however our main policy is to at least make sure a customer receives their single estate coffee within 7 days of roasting.

Subscriptions are always fresher as we choose to roast single estate coffees one day out of the week and that is the day we dispatch to our subscribers, hence the freshly roasted bag you received for your single estate subscription.

    On espresso subs:
With regards to Espresso, we would recommend that you drink espresso at least 2 weeks after its roasted. Prior to this we would consider it to be ‘Too Fresh’ therefore impairing the taste. This is why the espresso you received was 2-3 weeks old, the ideal time to drink it.

And the icing on the cake for me is that their marketing mgr has offered to send me my espresso sub orders closer to the roasting dates going forward as she understands my preference is to try them in an earlier state and to send me a complimentary freshly roasted bag of my first mths espresso order.
