Kenmare won the Kerry junior football championship today and earlier this year won the Intermediate hurling championship so now they go on to the Munster Championship in both. Im wondering is this the first time one club will play in there provincial championship in the same year? I know St Finbarrs have won All Irelands in both but not sure if they every played in Munster in both

I'm almost sure that St. Anne's of Wexford won the senior double in hurling and football during the early 2000's so I presume they competed in the Leinster championship in both codes, though being a Kilkenny man I can't be too sure of that.

Daragh Ryan (a quality CB with the Wexford hurlers) was the most well known member of that club at the time.

I think Ballyboden did the double in hurling and football in Dublin a few years back, so they would have played in Leinster in both...

I recall Clonguish winning Longford snr football and hurling a more than once during the noughties....i don't know if they participated in leinster hurling championship though.
Four Roads won the hurling again on saturday in Roscommon, and their sister club St Aidens are favourites in the intermediate football on Sunday next, with a ffair few dual players involved in both. Again, I don't know whether they play in Connacht hurling or not, something tells me they play Connacht intermediate but I'm open to correction.
One player Padraig Kelly has again won senior football and hurling in Roscommon with St Bridgets and Four Roads respectivly. AFAIK he has now won 3 in a row football and 5 in a row football now, a fairly unique achievement I'd say

My own club, Horeswood, (Wexford) played in the Leinster Senior Football Championship & Leinster Junior Hurling Championship last year.

St Annes did do the senior double in 2001. Some of the players involved back then won a second football championship last Sunday week.

Portlaoise won the double in 2004 and 1991.
