320D Fuel Filter

    On my 2005 BMW E90 320D I noticed a leak the other day, put it up today and the fuel filter looked like the following:

    I pushed it back in:
    5yeq0z.jpg

    However there are no clips/screws visible to hold it in.
    With a decent amount of pulling it will come out.

    I started the car and it ran for ~5 seconds then stopped, looked underneath and it had come out again.
    Are there clips/screws/a bracket missing?
