There are 2 horses Iquite fancy today, one a big price and the other a shortish joint fav, so i'll try get the double but i'll have singles too :)

    2.20 Newmarket - Moohaajim @ 5/2 JF

The main logic behind this fancy is that Adam Kirby had the choice of rides between this fella and the other JF, the unbeaten Reckless Abandon, even though RA has already beaten Moohaajim in France 2 runs ago.
I dont think Moohaajim got the run of the race that day either, he was out wide and got no real cover and was beaten only 2 lengths. It was only his second start also and he was possibly greener than anything else in the race. Kirby is a jock i really rate so i think his choice of mounts speaks volumes in this contest so that'll do for me.

Now, we're not going to get rich backing a 5/2 shot, so im putting forward a bigger priced animal to try get a nice double up.

    3.35 Newmarket - Tominator @ 14/1

At 8/1 the field, with a whopping 35 runners, you might think im nuts picking one out of this bunch to go with Moohaajim, but i really do fancy Tominator here.
I think Jonjo has laid him out for this and his last few runs suggest he's been brought steadily along to hit peak form for this (I hope).
Tominator won the Northumberland plate in 2011 so we know he can handle big fields and a 2 mile trip (2m 2f today). The ground was good to soft that day, which is the exact same as the going description today. Tominator is generally held up towards the rear in his races, (he wont be any better than mid division here i reckon) and Jonjo has booked JP Spencer for the ride, no better buachaill for a hold up horse.
On his last run he finished a close 4th, beaten a neck giving 8 lbs to the progressive Sir Graham Wade. As usual he was held up, but didnt get the clearest of runs through but finished like a train. I also think the better pace he'll likely get today will help those being held up today.
He's also drawn well today in 3, and past stats indicate that not many horse's drawn wide can win the Cesarewitch. All in all, he ticks quite a few of the essential boxes in my eyes.

with the draw Spencer can place him wherever he wants, I can him sitting mid-div and storming home to win by a length

I'm not sure I believe the official story that Kirby has picked Moohaajim over Reckless Abandon. Gerald Mosse has ridden RA to Group 1 and Group 2 victories in Deauville in his last two races. I'd have been very suprised if Kirby got the ride back after that. Call me cynical but I get the feeling that Kirby's been jocked off Reckless Abandon but the official line is that he had the choice of mounts and went with Moohaajim.

    Cox :
“Basically, yes, I was surprised Adam chose the way he did,” “But, he had ridden Reckless Abandon to his first two wins, and he was suspended when the colt went for the Prix Robert Papin, so we booked Gérald Mossé, who then took the ride in the Prix Morny at Deauville.
“Having said I’m surprised, I’m also more than happy to have Gérald back on board.”

    Kirby:
"He (Moohaajim) obviously didn't get a fair crack of the whip in France. Let's just hope it's a clean-run race on Saturday and we'll find out who is the best.
"They are two completely different horses, but both very special.
"I'd rather they were running in completely different races, but they're not and I decided on Moohaajim.
