Budget ultrabook

I'm looking to press the button and order an UltraNote 14" from Pcspecialist (http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/notebooks/ultraNote/), 4 GB RAM, 120GB SSD, no OS as I have a licence of Windows 7 to hand.

I have a budget of around €600, I need portability and sitting-on-couch-ability (it will be replacing a tried and trusted Samsung NC10 netbook that has been on constantly since we got it and wanders around the house according to herd movements) and good battery life. It will be mostly used for general web browsing (Youtube, Facebook, etc.), movies and some light gaming (Minecraft and Sim City 4).

What CPU should I get - the i3-3110M for the UltraNote is within my budget but would an i5 be more future-proof?

Has anyone got any other options for a budget ultrabook as described?

If you're happy with 4 GB RAM for now and don't need the OS, go for the Core i7 3632QM and the basic 250 GB HDD. This will cost you 611 Euro and is about as future-proof as it gets. RAM and SSD are easily upgraded later.
